Calculation of Thermal Fields when Drilling Small-Sized Holes in Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic

The Purpose of the paper. study thermal physics process drilling polymer composite materials based on capabilities engineering package Comsol Multiphysics. Determination values temperatures arising in cutting zone when with a tool materials, namely, carbon fiber. Establishment depth heat propagation inside workpiece from edge formed hole material. In this work, Fourier equations are used. Numerical simulation wascarried out COMSOL A technique for modeling effects during fiber reinforced plastics Multiphysics environment has been developed. As result computer calculation, temperature fields were obtained at plastic hole. state carried out. On basis conducted research, it was revealed that reaches 650 K. distance over which spreads edges into is 3 mm. developed impact can significantly simplify complex analytical calculations, help to avoid overheating part drilling, improves quality processing.
